Replacing batteries
When batteries are low, the buzzing sound will be heard instead of normal audio, or no sound will be played at all. To replace batteries:
- access the back of the painting,
- turn off the power using the switch on the edge of the painting,
- replace batteries with 6 x „C” or „R14” size alkaline type (it's important - zinc batteries can damage the painting if leaking, also provide much shorter worktime),
- turn the power on – sound should be audible within few seconds.
Note: to get rid of dealing with batteries, consider using line power supply. Contact me for details (see top of page).

Adjusting the sound volume
- locate the „Volume” adjustment on the player body,
- gently insert a small screwdriver into potentiometer gap,
- turn left to decrease volume, turn right to increase volume.
Note: changes may not be immediately effective. If player is playing audio at the moment, volume change can be delayed few seconds due to power-saving routines. If player is not playing audio, changes can be delayed up to several hours, depending on time settings. For quick sound check, reset the player by switching it off for ~20 seconds.

Adjusting the playback timing
- locate the „Time” adjustment on the player body,
- turn left to make it play more often, turn right to make it play less often. See the table on player cover for reference.
Note: even a small change of knob position can bring noticeable change of timing. When long timing is set, observing the changes might require hours of waiting. For quick precise adjustments use the external info display. Contact me for details (see top of page).
Note: if you need quiet mode in the night, then a light sensor, timer module or remote control can be attached. Contact me for details (see top of page).
